Daily Routine with English Vocabulary Words
At Night
Remember that we say: in the morning, in the afternoon but this is the exception, so you normally say at night.
Also, note that good night isn’t a greeting (a way to say “hello”). If you say “good night” to someone, it’s like saying “goodbye“. You can also say it right before you go to sleep.
You can say "good evening" when you greet someone and it is night.
* In English, evening is generally the period of time after the sun goes down (when it becomes dark), but before you go to bed.
Night Time Vocabulary
Midnight. This is at 12 a.m., in the middle of the night. It’s the opposite of noon.
Night Actions
These are some actions you may do as a part of your evening / night routine.
Get home.
Relax.
Have dinner / eat dinner with my family.
Watch T.V. / videos / a movie / Netflix.
Read a book / a novel / a magazine
Go out with friends / parents
Chat with parents, siblings, friends.
Go for a walk.
Walk my dog.
Feed my pet / dog / cat, etc.
Do homework.
Play videogames.
Get ready for bed.
Set my alarm.
Go to bed / Get in bed.
Go to sleep / sleep
